INGREDIENTS

2 pt Strawberries
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 c Cointreau or Grand Marnier
1/2 pt Vanilla ice cream
1/2 c Heavy cream
1/4 t Almond extract

INSTRUCTIONS

Gently wash berries in cold water. Drain on paper towels; hull. Turn
into serving bowl. Sprinkle with sugar and Cointreau; toss. Chill 1
hour, stirring occasionally. Let ice cream soften in refrigerator
about 1 hour. Beat heavy cream just un~ stiff. Fold in almond  extract.
Gently fold whipped cream and softened ice cream into  strawberry
mixture. Serve at once. Makes 8 servings.  Recipe by: diane@keyway.net
