INGREDIENTS
15 | oz | Molasses |
1 | c | Oil |
2 | Eggs, beaten | |
1 | c | Sugar |
1/2 | t | Baking soda |
1 | t | Salt |
1 | T | Pepper |
1/2 | c | Grated orange rind |
6 | c | Flour, plus 1 cup if needed |
1 | c | Filberts, sliced |
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix molasses, oil, eggs, suagr, baking soda, salt, pepper, and orange rind. Blend well. Add flour to form a dough that can be rolled. Oil fingers, tale pieces of dough and roll like a pencil. Shape roll into a 4-5" S shape. Place a sliced filbert on top and bottom of S. Bake on ungreased cooked sheet 375 degrees for about 15 minutes, until brown.
