We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

As I understand it, a worship leader exercises various gifts listed in 1 Corinthians 12, Romans 12, Ephesians 4, and elsewhere. These include pastoring, leading, administration, and teaching. Under the oversight of the pastor, he combines those gifts with musical skill to care for, guide, and instruct God’s people as they sing His praises.
Bob Kauflin

Are we prepared to live by our own standards? If the way you internally judge others was measured back to you externally by others, you would be totally crushed and exasperated! And if the severity of judgment from others is a painful thought, consider the severity of God’s judgment applying to you the same standard you apply to others. The parallel verse of Matthew 7:1 in Luke says, “Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned” (Lk. 6:36-37). In James 2:13 we read, “For judgment will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy.” On the contrary, the Fifth Beatitude states, “Blessed are the merciful for they shall receive mercy” (Mt. 5:7).

Vegetables, Eggs Vegetarian Main course, Vegetarian* 2 Servings

INGREDIENTS

250 g Tofu
1 T Lemon juice
3/4 t Basil
S&P, to taste
1 T Mustard
200 g Courgette
6 T Flour, divided 2T + 4T
2 Eggs
1/2 t Mild paprika
50 g Margarine

INSTRUCTIONS

Ahead: Cut the tofu into blocks of about 2cm. Stir together lemon
juice, basil, salt, pepper, and mustard in a medium bowl. Toss in the
tofu blocks. Let marinate at least 2 hours. When ready to cook: Wash
courgette and cut into slices of about 1-1/2cm. Put 2T flour into a
deep plate. In another deep plate, beat together the eggs and paprika.
Add the remaining flour, stirring till smooth. Remove the tofu blocks
from the marinade and dry with paper towels. Dip each block in the
flour and then in the batter. Repeat with the courgette slices. In a
large frying pan, heat the margarine. Add the tofu blocks and
courgette slices; cook, stirring, until golden, about 5 min. Divide
among 4 wooden skewers. Lekker with frites and iceberg sla. [Or over
rice or noodles, with a side salad.] [I think sticking these onto
skewers after they're already cooked is a silly idea. Just dump them
(attractively) on a plate and serve.] Recipe By : Tip Posted to
