We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

The moral absolutes rest upon God’s character. The moral commands He has given to men are an expression of His character. Men as created in His image are to live by choice on the basis of what God is. The standards of morality are determined by what conforms to His character, while those things which do not conform are immoral.
Francis Schaeffer

The Reformation was the inevitable and explosive consequence of the Word of God crashing like a massive tidal wave against the thin barricades of man-made tradition and hypocritical religion. As the common people of Europe gained access to the Scriptures in their own language, the Spirit of God used that timeless truth to convict their hearts and convert their souls. The result was utterly transformative, not only for the lives of individual sinners, but for the entire continent on which they resided.
John MacArthur

140:2 dirigatur oratio mea sicut incensum in conspectu tuo elevatio manuum mearum sacrificium vespertinum

140:9 custodi me a laqueo quem statuerunt mihi et ab scandalis operantium iniquitatem

140:10 cadent in retiaculo eius peccatores singulariter sum ego donec transeam
