testimony of a sinner

when I was a young woman I thought I was pretty normal. But by the time I was 20 I had been drunk and high many times and had 2 abortions.

I didn’t think anything of it at the time but then I gave birth to my daughter. When she was 3 I had a powerful experience of Jesus and began practicing my faith in my everyday life.

My daughter got really sick. I thought God was going to take her because I had taken the lives of my children. I was devastated and in constant misery and turmoil.

I became involved in the charismatic renewal in 1977. Every evil spirit in the universe had taken up residence in my head. . And in 1981 I had my second child. I had the constant impression that the demons hated my children and that I had to be a very good mother to them because if I didn’t they would die.

I never felt like a good mother because the whole time I was having obsessions, a mental illness, about throwing my daughter out of the car and I kept hearing a voice in my head that said he hated my then young son.

I felt that the voice came from the male baby I had aborted and had a mass said by a charismatic priest to put my baby to rest. I felt a presence leave me and the voices stopped. I was able to raise my son and daughter with more joy.

They are now 37 and 31. Both college graduates and enjoying their lives.

I have seen many miracles in my day. A charismatic healer extended my left leg by about 2 inches from the knee down in prayer, and I have experienced in my body a feeling of liquid love running down my arm as I prayed for someone else.

I believe in the Lord 35 years later and go to communion as often as I can. I feel like God saved me from the devils envy and preserved my family. Thank You Jesus for all that You have done for me. Don’t stop now!
