VowI acknowledge that all young women, including myself, have beenendowed with grace, beauty and charm.
I acknowledge that I have two choices as to how I will use mygrace, beauty and charm. First, I can use it to attract others togracefulness, beauty and charm, and I can plant this seed in others by mypure and proper dress and behavior. On the other hand, I can choose touse it to attract young men to me in order to get momentary love andattention for myself–even love and attention at any price.
I hereby choose, before the undersigned witnesses, to not exchangemy gracefulness, beauty and charm for momentary love and attention at anycheap price. Rather, I will cherish and protect my grace, beauty andcharm and use such, for the rest of my life, to plant beauty, charm andgracefulness in others around me. I will always endeavor to bring outgallantry (that is, courtesy and honesty toward women) in the young men Imeet through my dress, demeanor and conversation.
This, my vow, I have made in the presence of the undersigned twowitnesses on this, the 20 day of May, 1998.
