Stand For Life

This morning I received a note from a young lady on the End-Times Prophecy list who had never written before. She was inquiring about the “Petition for Life” that I’m encouraging everyone to sign. Here’s what she wrote:

Hi Jan! I have never actually written you athough I have thought about it
a million times before. I was just wondering what your true take was on
the petition. I have not signed yet for the reasons I am about to
mention. I am dead set against Abortion for ME. However I do think
that for Medical reasons and reasons of rape and incest that an abortion
should be a choice to have. I do feel that there are too many lives of
too many babies being wasted every day. I wan to sign the Petition for
the needless deaths from women who feel a baby would cramp thier life
style but what about the other ones I mentioned. Please give me some input on this issue. I would greatly appriecate it.

I spent some time and wrote her a rather lengthly letter full of scripture which left little room for doubt as to what the mind of God is regarding abortion. This evening I recieved the following note from her:

Jan, it is so funny because I do not even know who my father is and I am
not sure my mom does either. She was raped for years by my
grandmother’s boy friend. She told me that she was 17 by the time he
stopped doing it. She also went to juvinille hall where she claims to
have met my father whose name is on my birth cirtificate. Neither of
these men have I ever met. Since we seem to have that in common I see
your point. I know what to do now, thank you. God bless you and your long letter.

Final outcome . . . she signed the petition and is now willing to take a definite stand to protect the unborn children regardless of the circumstances surrounding their conception. She is also asking others to stand with her to do whatever necessary to the save the lives of ALL unborn children!
Praise God!!!!! It may seem like a small victory, but it’s a victory nonetheless!
