A little chat with God, about how to vote in the Presidential election

Hello God,

I wanted to talk to you about how I should vote in the US Presidential election.  You know I'm a conservative Christian, and this election, I'm planning to vote for someone I don't want as President, to prevent someone I REALLY don't want from actually becoming President.  I'm doing this even though someone who truly loves and honors you is running for President – but I know he can't win.

I just thought I'd tell you what I'm doing – I really don't want your input, and I don't trust that you could do a miracle and actually get the right man who loves you into office as President.  So I'm taking matters into my own hands – trust me, I've got this strategy all figured out.

Oh, by the way – remember that story about the sheep and the goats (Matthew 25:33)?  I just want you to know that even though I'm dressing up as a goat for this coming election, and that I'll be in the pen with the goats, that you should take a moment to look under my goat costume when it comes time to divide the two groups.  I may look and smell like a goat, but I'm not one of them.

Thanks God.

Your Faithful Servant

1 Samuel 12:13
And now behold the king whom you have chosen, for whom you have asked; behold, the LORD has set a king over you. 14 If you will fear the LORD and serve him and hearken to his voice and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, and if both you and the king who reigns over you will follow the LORD your God, it will be well; 15 but if you will not hearken to the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then the hand of the LORD will be against you and your king.
