Who Were The Two Men At The Res
WHO WERE THE “TWO MEN” AT THE RESURRECTION?
It doesn’t tell who they are, brother. There are two possibilities, however. The first possibility is found in Revelation chapter 11, and the second possibility is found in Luke 24.
Luke 24:3: “And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments.” Now, who are these two men?
Same chapter, verse 23: “And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of ANGELS, which said that he was alive.” So, the two could have been angels.
The other possibility is Revelation 11:3: “I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand, two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.”
The two witnesses, by all odds, comparing scripture with scripture, are the last two names in the Old Testament. The last two names in the Old Testament are Moses and Elijah, Malachi 4. So, it might be them.
