Holiness appeared to me to be of a sweet, pleasant, charming, serene, calm nature; which brought an inexpressible purity, brightness, peacefulness, and ravishment to the soul. In other words, that it made the soul like a field or garden of God, with all manner of pleasant flowers.

BASIC R.C. BELIEF This festival, on November 1, is a Holyday of Obligation and commemorates all saints, canonized and uncanonized, known and unknown. By proper reception of the Sacrament of Penance and Holy Eucharist around this time, the faithful may gain a plenary indulgence for souls in Purgatory.
