We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

If sin is not our core problem, the gospel itself – the thing of first importance – is marginalized. The good news that Jesus proclaimed and offered is that there is forgiveness of sins, not through our own attempts to please God but by placing our confidence in Jesus Himself, in His death and resurrection. If sin is not our primary problem, then the gospel of Jesus is no longer the most important event in all of human history.

Word and worship belong indissolubly to each other. All worship is an intelligent and loving response to the revelation of God, because it is the adoration of His name. Therefore, acceptable worship is impossible without preaching. For preaching is making known the name of the Lord, and worship is praising the name of the Lord made known.

    The Art of Marriage

    A good marriage must be created.
    In the marriage the little things

    are the big things…

    It is never being too old to hold hands. It is remembering to say “I love you”

    at least once a day.

    It is never going to sleep angry.
    It is having a mutual sense of values

    and common objectives.

    It is standing together facing the world. It is forming a circle of love that

    gathers in the whole family.

    It is speaking words of appreciation and demonstrating gratitude in thoughtful ways. It is having the capacity to forgive and forget. It is giving each other an atmosphere in which each can grow. It is a common search for the good and the beautiful. Its not only marrying the right person. It’s being the right partner. -Wilfred A. Peterson-
