JON 4:8 And it came to pass, when the sun did arise, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.

ZEC 1:5 Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they live for ever?

MAT 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

LUK 2:29 Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:

LUK 12:20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

LUK 12:35 Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;

LUK 12:36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

LUK 12:37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

LUK 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

LUK 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

LUK 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

LUK 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

LUK 16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

LUK 16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:

LUK 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

LUK 20:34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:

LUK 20:35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

LUK 20:36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

LUK 20:37 Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.

LUK 20:38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

LUK 23:39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

LUK 23:40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

LUK 23:41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

LUK 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

LUK 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

JOH 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

JOH 11:11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.

ACT 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

ACT 5:4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

ACT 5:5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

ACT 5:6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.

ACT 5:7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.

ACT 5:8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

ACT 5:9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.

ACT 5:10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

ACT 7:59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

ACT 7:60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

ACT 13:36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

ROM 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

ROM 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

ROM 14:7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

ROM 14:8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.

1CO 3:21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;

1CO 3:22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;

1CO 3:23 And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.

1CO 15:6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

1CO 15:18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

1CO 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

1CO 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

1CO 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

1CO 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

1CO 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1CO 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

1CO 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

1CO 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

1CO 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

1CO 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

2CO 1:9 But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:

2CO 1:10 Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;

2CO 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

2CO 5:2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:

2CO 5:4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

2CO 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

PHI 1:20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.

PHI 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

PHI 1:22 But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.

PHI 1:23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

PHI 1:24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.

1TH 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

1TH 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

1TH 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

1TH 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1TH 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

1TH 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

1TH 5:10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

1TI 6:7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

2TI 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

2TI 4:6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

2TI 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

HEB 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

HEB 2:15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

HEB 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

HEB 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

HEB 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

HEB 13:14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

JAM 1:10 But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.

JAM 1:11 For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

JAM 4:15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

1PE 1:17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

1PE 1:24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:

2PE 1:11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

2PE 1:14 Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.

REV 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

REV 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

REV 9:6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

REV 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

REV 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

REV 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

REV 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

REV 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
