We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

There is no greater love song to proclaim than the once for all sacrifice of Jesus Christ our Lord at Calvary, but yet others feel content to sing about the chaff of this world. What the New Testament church wrestled with the least is what our industry craves the most – money. How dare we think we can play politics with God, with His truth and with His church? We can't negotiate with sin no matter what kind of capital is at stake – and that really is the issue here.

If you cannot give your heart to God now, how is it possible you could enjoy God’s heaven hereafter? Heaven is unceasing godliness; it is to be in the presence of God and His Christ for evermore. God is the light, the food, the air of heaven. It is an eternal Sabbath. To serve God is heaven’s employment, to talk with God is heaven’s occupation. Oh, sinners, sinners, could you be happy there? To which of all the saints would you join yourselves? By whose side would you go and sit down, with whom of all the prophets and apostles would you love to converse? Surely it would be a wearisome thing to you; surely you would soon want to go forth and join your friends outside.

Newsgroups: Awesome for Outlook users, instead of Digests

Please have a look at the new “Newsgroup” column on the Email Groups list at
/groups.shtml

Open groups have a NEWS link that will cause Explorer to open Outlook and let
people QUICKLY participate in the Email Group without receiving anything in
email. To participate, they just need to be subscribed to the ALLOW list of
your group, labeled as Web/NOMAIL on that web page.

The only drawback I know of with the newsgroup method, is that the messages
are only updated once a day, just after midnight. However, this does beat
digest mode, which is sent out at 5am. So even this is better than digests.
