We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

In this light, we see the problem of pleasure. Manifestly, as sinners against an infinitely glorious God, we deserve an immediate and infinite, condign, irremediable punishment from His holy, powerful hands. Nothing that we have ever received, that anyone has ever received, in all this world, has even approximated an adequate punishment for the crimes we commit in any one moment. How, therefore, do we continue to live? Why are we not plunged into eternal torment now, immediately?
John Gerstner

We must never forget the thief of the cross (Lk. 23:39-43). He is often used as an encouraging example of a deathbed conversion, but certainly much more is involved. Instead of seizing his last opportunity to be saved, perhaps it was his first opportunity! And think of the courage needed to confess Christ openly before that derisive mob. However one interprets the passage, one thing is clear: where there is life, there is hope. We never know what transpires between the soul and God as that soul is about to enter eternity (Warren Wiersbe and David Wiersbe).

CATEGORY CUISINE TAG YIELD
Dairy Abm, Breads, Corn, Jw 1 1/2lb loaf

INGREDIENTS

9 oz Water
1 tb Veg oil
1/4 c Wheat germ
1/4 c Oat bran
1 c Cream of wheat cereal
1 c Corn Flour
1 c All purpose flour
1 ts Salt
1 ts Sugar
1 1/2 ts Yeast
1/4 c Dried parsley [opt'l]

INSTRUCTIONS

Add the liquid and solid ingredients and the yeast in order according to
the manufacturer's instructions. Run on regular/basic and medium crust.
The cream of wheat is not as gritty as cornmeal and yet the corn flour
provides the corn taste.
I made my first loaf with parsley but as for any cornmeal bread or muffin,
the addition of garlic, chiles, bacon bits and/or cheese should work.
