No man is truly awake today who has not developed a supra-national horizon to his thinking. No church is anything more than a pathetic pietistic backwater unless it is first and fundamentally and all the time a world missionary church.
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention about 43% of all American women will have at least one abortion by the age 45 (p. 18). 20% of these are performed on teenagers (p. 28). 50% are performed on women who have had at least one abortion already (p. 31). Every third baby conceived and viable in this country is killed by abortion (p. 35).
Sift together flour and baking powder. Mix eggs, sugar and anise flavoring.
Fold in dry ingredients.
Drop by tablespoon onto greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Sprinkle
with anise seed. Bake at 350 degrees until brown around the edges, about 4
minutes. Remove quickly from sheet and roll while hot. Sprinkle with icing
sugar before serving. These will be thin and about the circumference of
pancakes when they come out of the oven.
