INGREDIENTS
| 1 1/2 | c | Flour |
| 1/4 | ts | Baking powder |
| 3 | Eggs; beaten until frothy | |
| 1 | c | Sugar |
| 1/4 | ts | Anise flavoring |
| Anise seed as needed |
INSTRUCTIONS
Sift together flour and baking powder. Mix eggs, sugar and anise flavoring. Fold in dry ingredients. Drop by tablespoon onto greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Sprinkle with anise seed. Bake at 350 degrees until brown around the edges, about 4 minutes. Remove quickly from sheet and roll while hot. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
