God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
For if, as the apostle argues, “He that does not provide for his own house,” in temporal things, “has denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel;” to what greater degree of apostasy must he have arrived, who takes no thought to provide for the spiritual welfare of his family!
When we are in prosperity our prayers come from our lips; and therefore the Lord is forced to cast us down, that our prayers may come from our hearts, and that our senses may be wakened from the security in which they are lying.

INSTRUCTIONS
Liquefy in blender:
Phillip Graebing wrote that he had lost his blueberry recipes. I have a
cookbook called "The Blueberry Connection" - 209 pages of nothing but
blueberry recipes. Being it's that time of the year, hopefully some of the
following will refresh Phillip's files
Serve about 1/3 blueberry blend with 1/3 white wine and 1/3 crushed ice.
Top with sprig of mint.
"It is said that the Indians used the blueberry as an anti-spasmodic to
ease the pain of childbirth. This remedy was later adopted by many of the
early settlers."
