We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

[Evangelism] is telling the good news about Jesus, and doing it with honesty, urgency, and joy, using the Bible, living a life that backs it up, and praying, and doing it all for the glory of God.
Mark Dever

In our thinking, we actually begin to believe that our ways are better than God’s. We take this created gift called sex and use it to question the Creator God, who gave us the gift in the first place. We replace God’s pattern with our preferences, exchanging what God’s Word says about sexuality for what our observation and experience say about it. Yet we’re blind to our own foolishness. It’s as if we’re living out Proverbs 14:12 – “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” The real danger here is our claim to know better than God what is best for our bodies and to justify sexual sin as a result.

INGREDIENTS

8 oz Lasagna noodles, precooked until al dente (OR "no bake noodles soaked in hot water for a few minutes until pliable)
4 Baking apples, cored, peeled and sliced thinly
1 ts Cinnamon (or so, depending on your taste)
Nutmeg
1/2 c Brown sugar plus some for "sprinkling"
2 c Ff ricotta or cottage cheese
8 oz Shredded ff cheddar cheese
1 Egg white (can be omitted if desired)
1 c Good apple cider

INSTRUCTIONS

Place 1/3 of the apples in the bottom of a deep square baking dish (glass).
Sprinkle with some cinnamon and brown sugar. Place 1/3 of the pre-cooked
noodles on top.
Mix the cheeses and egg white with the 1/2 cup brown sugar and some
cinnamon and nutmeg. Spread 1/2 on top of the noodles, then top with more
apples and another layer of noodles.
Repeat apple/cheese/noodles until you use them all up. Top layer should be
noodles with a few apple slices for garnish. Sprinkle with some cinnamon.
Pour apple cider over lasagna.
Cover with wax paper or plastic wrap and microwave on HIGH for 10-15
minutes or until noodles are tender. Allow to sit to absorb moisture.
ALternately, I guess this can be baked in the oven (350 for 1/2 hour or so,
covered with foil).
