INSTRUCTIONS
* Use Calvados, a French apple brandy, or regular brandy if preferred. Red
wine may also be used with excellent results.
1. Arrange the apple slices in a glass baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon
juice and Applejack or your choice of brandies or wine. Dot with the
butter. Add enough apple cider to fill the dish to a depth of 1 inch. 2.
Bake in a preheated 375-degree oven for 20 minutes.
