God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
As followers of Christ, we often suffer not because we are out of God's will but because we are in it, not because we lack faith but because we have faith. We suffer not because we need to be filled with the Spirit but because we already are. Stronger faith does not mean less suffering, but more suffering means stronger faith. Far from calling our faith into question, our afflictions result in our becoming more and more like Christ Himself.
It’s effortless just to watch believers self-destruct spiritually and do nothing about it. It’s effortless to do nothing and watch a relationship with others that took years to develop just vanish in a matter of days. Few enjoy confronting others or the often hostile responses from hard hearts we often receive in return, but confronting others with the right spirit is the evidence of our love and according to Scripture it is something that must not be neglected. “Faithful are the wounds of a friend” (Pr. 27:6).

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Spray an oblong casserole baking dish with Pam. Arrange chicken pieces
in pan. Put cheese slices on top of chicken.
2. Mix soup with sherry; pour over cheese.
3. Sprinkle with croutons. Dot with margerine.
4. Bake, covered, in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Uncover for
the last 10 minutes of baking so croutons can get crisp. Serves 4.
This was great with Stove-Top Stuffing, skillet sweet potatoes, and
veggies. Laura Schetter...Ken will love this one!
