We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

The fall of man has created a perpetual crisis. It will last until sin has been put down and Christ reigns over a redeemed and restored world. Until that time the earth remains a disaster area and its inhabitants live in a state of extraordinary emergency. To me it has always been difficult to understand those evangelical Christians who insist upon living in the crisis as if no crisis existed. They say they serve the Lord, but they divide their days so as to leave plenty of time to play and loaf and enjoy the pleasures of the world as well. They are at ease while the world burns.

God is particularly interested in our joy. He tells us, “Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart!” (Psalm 32:11). When the church gathers, the sense of confident joy in God should be pronounced. When we fail to demonstrate delight and satisfaction in God, we’re not only dishonoring God, we’re disobeying Him. More than anyone else on earth, Christians have a reason to celebrate.

CATEGORY CUISINE TAG YIELD
Seafood 1 Servings

INGREDIENTS

1 lb Fish fillets (I use red snapper)
1/2 ts Salt (I don't use, my hubby doesn't like salt)
1 ds Pepper
2 tb Margarine or butter, melted
1 tb Lemon juice
2 ts Grated onion

INSTRUCTIONS

If fish fillets are large, cut into 5 or 6 serving pieces. Sprinkle both
sides of fish with salt and pepper (I don't). Mix margarine or butter (I
use butter), lemon juice and onion. Dip fish into margarine/butter mixture;
arrange in ungreased square pan, 9 x 9 x 2 inches. (I always use a longer
pan).Pour remaining mixture over fish.
Cook uncovered in 350 degree oven until fish flakes easily with fork, 25 to
30 minutes.
I served this with kind of a rice pilaf: I stir fried sliced fresh
mushrooms, celery and onion, sauteed, and then added cooked rice to the
veggies, and also had fresh asparagus.
