For some reason, we think of doubt and worry as “small” sins. But when a Christian displays unbelief…or an inability to cope with life, he is saying to the world, “My God cannot be trusted,” and that kind of disrespect makes one guilty of a fundamental error, the heinous sin of dishonoring God. That is no small sin.
I declare I know no state of soul more dangerous than to imagine we are born again and sanctified by the Holy Ghost, because we have picked up a few religious feelings.
Saute onion with butter & almonds. Do not let almonds get too brown. Add
rice, salt, consomme & water. Pour into 2-quart casserole dish & bake in
preheated oven at 350 for 1 to 1-1/2 hours or until done. Cover dish for
the first 20 minutes. Serves 8-10.
