God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
The evil in our desires often lies not in what we want but in the fact that we want it too much. Natural affections (for any good thing) become inordinate, ruling cravings. We are meant to be ruled by godly passions and desires. Natural desires for good things are meant to exist subordinate to our desire to please the Giver of gifts. Grasping that the evil lies in the ruling status of the desire, not the object, is frequently a turning point in self-understanding, in seeing the need for Christ’s mercies, and in changing.

INSTRUCTIONS
Here's my grandmother's recipe for stuffed potatoes, which are decadent,
yet so satisfying!
Preheat oven to 425°. Wash potatoes and bake 45-60 minutes, until soft.
When done, and slightly cooled, cut in half lengthwise. Scoop out potato
and mix with all other ingresients, except cheese.
Lower oven to 375°. Fill each potato skin up with mixture. Sprinkle
parmesan and then paprika on top of each shell. Return to oven and bake for
15 minutes, untilk cheese melts and potatoes are slightly bubbly.
These can be made ahead of time: after filling skins, wrap individually in
clear wrap, and refrigerate or freeze. Let come to room temperature before
baking.
