Charismatics have spent the last hundred years establishing falsehoods about the Spirit and pushing back all efforts at correction by labeling those who question their teaching as unloving, unkind, divisive, and intolerant. The castigation of those who criticize their dishonoring views on the Holy Spirit has, in effect, silenced the church by intimidation. As a result, the Holy Spirit continues to be mocked, monetized, and blasphemed... Having an errant view of the Holy Spirit takes the entire paradigm of our sanctification and corrupts it. Certainly this is not a matter that can be deemed off limits to biblical discernment for the sake of false unity.

2	c	Biscuit mix
1	c	Unflavored yogurt
		Non-nutritive sweetener to equal 1/4 cup + 2 T sugar
1		Egg
1	c	Berries;blue, black, etc
2	ts	Grated lemon peel

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.  Grease a 12 muffin (2 1/2") tin. Combine
mix and sweetener equivalent to 1/4 cup sugar in bowl; add yogurt. Add egg;
beat with fork until well combined. Fold berries gently into batter with
rubber spatula; place about 1/4 cup batter into each muffin cup. Combine
lemon peel and remaining sweetener and mix well. Sprinkle over batter; bake
until golden brown (20 to 25 minutes). Serve hot. Yields 12 muffins. PER
SERVING: 1 muffin = 1 Bread, 1/2 Fat Calories: 104

That is, it is unbiblical because it would mean that the better a man became the harder it would be for him to act morally. The closer he came to true goodness the more naturally and happily he would do what is good. A good man in Scripture is not the man who dislikes doing good but toughs it out for the sake of duty. A good man loves kindness (Mic. 6:8) and delights in the law of the Lord (Ps. 1:2) and the will of the Lord (Ps. 40:8). But how shall such a man do an act of kindness disinterestedly? The better the man, the more joy in obedience.

But though we should never ask a demanding “why?” we may and should ask God to enable us to understand what He may be teaching us through a particular experience. But even here we must be careful that we are not seeking to satisfy our souls by finding some spiritual “good” in the adversity. Rather we must trust God that He is working in the experience for our good, even when we see no beneficial results. We must learn to trust God when He doesn’t tell us why, when we don’t understand what He is doing.
