We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

You need never live in fear that any heavenly joy will ever be lost or taken away! We struggle to enjoy life now from fear that it will soon end. We hesitate to savor what little happiness we have for fear that it may be taken away. We hold back and hedge our bets and restrain our souls, knowing that disaster may soon come, economic recession may begin, physical health may deteriorate, someone may die, or something unforeseen may surprise us and take it all away. But not in heaven! Never! The beauty and joy and glory and delight and satisfaction and purity will never ever end, but only increase and grow and expand and multiply!
Sam Storms

Indeed, in conversion, a man must make a decision. We shy away from that term because in modern jargon a “decision” has come to be identified with an outward expression, such as raising the hand or going forward to the front. While such external acts have nothing to do with forgiveness of sins, the heart must make a decision to be saved.

Here's a recipe I found on rec.food.recipes, anyone else have recipes for
chile cocktails?
In a small pan bring sugar, water, chili, zest, and ginger root to a slow
boil over low heat. Cool syrup slightly and pour through a fine sieve into
a small bowl.
In a cocktail shaker combine 1 teaspoon syrup, reserving remainder for
another use, with vodka and club soda and shake well. Pour mixture into a
wine glass filled halfway with ice and garnish with orange twist.
Makes 1 drink.
