We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

As the Reformers put it, saving faith is the instrument by which we subjectively appropriate Christ's objective, finished work. It is an opening of our empty hands to receive what God is offering. But we shall never give God all the glory for our salvation unless we remember that even the opening of our hands depends on what God has already done in the hiddennes of our hearts.
Mark Talbot

When Moses before the burning bush asked God His name, God replied, “I AM WHO I AM” (Ex. 3:14). We have an origin, but God has none. We must say, “By the grace of God, I am who I am,” but God can simply say, “I am who I am.” He is outside the realm of His creation and owes His existence to no one. God is self-existent.

Bratwurst in Beer and Honey

CATEGORY CUISINE TAG YIELD
German 1 Servings

INGREDIENTS

Sheboygan Brats; a couple of pounds
Beer to cover
1 tb Honey per 4 oz beer
Julienne Onions & Bell peppers (optional, I guess, I always opt for them)
Buns (Hoagie buns; not those dinky little hot dog things)

INSTRUCTIONS

If you are grilling out before the game, steaks are ok, but I think that
the best way to enjoy a game (or for that matter a race, soccor game or
picnic) is with a hot brat in one hand.
Put the Brats in a pan and brown them on all sides. Pour of the rendered
fat and pour on the beer and honey. Cover and simmer until the brats are
fully cooked. You can now chill them and atke them to the game to grill.
Grill until hot all the way through. Saute the onions and peppers and serve
them on the brats along with German Mustard or Guldens. Posted to
