God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
Love considers how in advance I can build someone up. Love creatively and aggressively meets another’s need. Love thinks less of self and more of others. Love grieves when others suffer. Love put the church over personal interests. Love models devoted Christian living to be an example to others. Love desires God’s people to have strong relationships with Christ.
There is the cistern of Pleasure, engraved with fruits and flowers, wrought at the cost of health and peace; the cistern of Wealth, gilded and inlaid with costly gems; the cistern of Human love, which, however fair and beautiful, can never satisfy the soul that rests in it alone – all these, erected at infinite cost of time and strength, are treacherous and disappointing.
SAUCE
SALAD
Sauce: Combine sauce ingredients in saucepan, bring to rolling boil. Reduce
heat, simmer until sauce is consistency of maple syrup, about 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and cool.
My personal preference is to half the soy sauce, water and honey or brn.
sugar. You may want to experiment by making a whole batch and adding it to
the salad to suit your preference. I used a considerable amount more
cilantro, lime, and ginger than the recipe calls for but I love spicy
things.
Combine salad ingredients, drizzle sauce over and toss gently. Chill and
serve.
