We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

We ought to sing song about Heaven, long after its beauties, rejoice because of the certainty that one glad day we shall be there. We ought to welcome the call that may come for us at any moment. We ought truly to be homesick for Heaven and willing to stay here on earth only that we may do the will of Christ and bless others in His name and work.

CATEGORY CUISINE TAG YIELD
Dairy, Eggs Pie 6 Servings

INGREDIENTS

5 tb Flour
2 c Buttermilk
2 Eggs; beaten
3/4 c Sugar
4 tb Butter
1 ts Vanilla
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Coconut; optional

INSTRUCTIONS

Blend flour with 1/2 cup buttermilk until smooth. Add beaten eggs to sugar
and butter. Add 1-1/2 cups buttermilk and vanilla. Add buttermilk-flour
mixture. Mix all ingredients thoroughly and pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes. This pie will rise high but
will sink when taken from the oven. Coconut sprinkled over pie gives a
pretty finish. This is an old recipe, inexpensive but delicious.
