We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

The gospel being what it is and always will be, “the message of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:19), our churches should be the most reconciling, peaceable, relaxed, happy places in town. We are so open to enemies, so meek in the face of insults and injuries, so forgiving toward the undeserving — if we do make people angry, let this be the reason. We refuse to join in their selfish battles. We’re following a higher call. We are the peacemakers, the true sons of God (Matthew 5:9).
Ray Ortlund

It is one thing to get a loan, it is quite another to pay it off. With few exceptions, shame on the church that takes 20 years to retire a 20-year loan! Most churches should have a workable plan to retire their debt in 7 years or less. Interest is money the church gives to the world to foster the world’s economy. That money should stay in the Kingdom to finance Kingdom work.

CATEGORY CUISINE TAG YIELD
Meats, Dairy 1 Servings

INGREDIENTS

1 Stick oleo
3 sm Cans chicken; (tuna size cans)
1 pk (8oz) cream cheese
Onion to taste
2 Tubes refrigerator biscuist

INSTRUCTIONS

Layer buscuits in an 8x12 baking pan. Melt oleo & cream cheese. Add onion
and chicken. Mix together very well. Pour over biscuits. Top with crushed
rice krispies or corn flakes. (we prefer the rice krispies because the corn
flakes get tough.)
Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
Last time I made it, I added a can of cream of chicken soup. It stretched
the chicken mixture - did not alter the taste. Otherwise I thought there
was too much biscuit for the chicken mixture.
Next time I make it, I'm going to try using Tuna and cream of mushroom
soup.
