Onion precooked in microwave

Chili sauce Salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Make white sauce out of butter;melt butter in pan, add flour,cheese, and
milk. Add salt and pepper to taste as well as chili sauce. Mix in with
precooked onion and pepper. Precook the cabbage in a steamer and drain.
Pour white sauce over cooked cabbage and put in greased baking dish in
preheated moderate oven for 20 minutes. Source: Mom
