Many times great difficulties precede special works of God. You can even say that God wins His greatest victories in the midst of apparent defeat. This can be clearly demonstrated in the life of our Lord on earth. When Jesus was crucified and placed in the tomb, it looked like the forces of unrighteousness had triumphed. However, it was in this time of apparent defeat that our victory for our salvation was won. This time of apparent defeat was followed by the resurrection of Christ.
The best way to identify potential elders is in the normal flow of church life. They are evident by their response to what’s being taught; by their willingness to serve; by the abundance of spiritual fruit in their lives; and by the many ways their giftedness is manifest in the church before they are ever singled out for leadership.
Sliced almonds; toasted in a non-stick pan, (or as much as your diet will allow-could probably get away with 2 TBS)

Catfish filets; rinsed

Smartbeat or other lowfat margarine

Lemon; juiced
INSTRUCTIONS
In a pan large enough to hold all of the filets, melt margarine and place
filets in pan. "Fry" filets until lightly browned on both sides, and cooked
through. Remove filets and keep warm. Add lemon juice and almonds to
drippings in pan and heat through. Serve over filets. Serve with colorful
veggies and/or a baked sweet potato on the side to brighten the dish.
