Satan is most effective in the church when he comes not as an open enemy, but as a false friend; not when he persecutes the church, but when he joins it; not when he attacks the pulpit, but when he stands in it.
To love God does not mean to meet His needs, but rather to delight in Him and to be captivated by His glorious power and grace, and to value Him above all other things on earth. All the rest of the commandments are the kinds of things that we will do from our hearts, if our hearts are truly delighted with and resting in the glory of God's grace.
Pate, caviar and cheese should be at room temperature. Place cream cheese
on waxed paper and roll and shape into a log. Spread the log evenly with
liver pate, then cover with caviar. Wrap in clear plastic wrap. Chill at
least one hour. Slice and serve with melba toast.
