Chili powder

Hot sauce or generous dash cayenne pepper

Garlic powder -or-

Clove garlic; minced

Modified from book "Simply Scones". Preheat oven to 400 F. Lightly oil
baking sheet (need not if it is non-stick). In large bowl stir together
flour, baking powder, and spices. Stir in the two cheeses. Cut in
margarine til like coarse crumbs. Stir together milk and eggs (and salsa,
if used). Add to flour mix and stir til combined.
Spread dough into an 8" diameter circle on baking sheet. Cut into 8
wedges. Bake 15-17 minutes or til lightly browned and a cake tester comes
out clean.
