We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

For some reason, it is easier to jump to negative conclusions about people than it is to assume the best about them. When we do this, we ascribe to them bad intentions and evil purposes that may not be true. We also reveal something about ourselves, for the faults we see in others are actually are reflection of our own.

My appeal is for you to rest in God’s sovereign will and to put more emphasis on developing discipline in your life, learning and practicing God’s Word, becoming holier in word and spirit, proclaiming the gospel, and “engaging in good deeds” (cf. Titus 2:14; 3:1, 8, 14), rather than being enamored with the pursuit of visible signs. Be careful about following those who can turn miracles on at 7 p.m. during a certain meeting. Pray and trust at all times, but do not become absorbed in a lust for miraculous signs like the wicked and adulterous generation Christ spoke of (Mt. 12:39). It will be an illusory journey that will often disappoint you.

2 tb Olive oil
1 Clove garlic, chopped

4 oz Straw mushrooms, chopped

2 Spring onions, chipped

INSTRUCTIONS

GARNISH
Here's another simple recipe. Straw mushrooms are available canned
in the Oriental section of many supermarkets or fresh in Asian
groceries. Enoki mushrooms would probably be a good substitute,
although I haven't tried that...
Heat the oil in a saucepan or wok and fry the garlic until soft but
not brown.
Add the chicken and stir-fry for 5 minutes. cool a little. Add the
water and mushrooms. Bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the lemon juice. Cover, and cook gently for a further 10 minutes.
Add the chilies, spring onions and ginger. Remove from the heat.
Sprinkle with coriander leaves before serving.

A Message from our Provider:

“When Holy God draws near in true revival, people come under terrible conviction of sin. The outstanding feature of spiritual awakening has been the profound consciousness of the Presence and holiness of God. #Henry Blackaby”
