Is it a small thing in your eyes to be loved by God – to be the son, the spouse, the love, the delight of the King of glory? Christian, believe this, and think about it: you will be eternally embraced in the arms of the love which was from everlasting, and will extend to everlasting – of the love which brought the Son of God's love from heaven to earth, from earth to the cross, from the cross to the grave, from the grave to glory – that love which was weary, hungry, tempted, scorned, scourged, buffeted, spat upon, crucified, pierced – which fasted, prayed, taught, healed, wept, sweated, bled, died. That love will eternally embrace you.
According to the spirit of this age, the ultimate sin is no longer the failure to honor and thank God but the failure to esteem oneself. Self-abasement, not God-abasement, is the evil. And the cry of deliverance is not “O wretched man that I am, who will deliver me?” but “O worthy man that I am, would that I could only see it better!”
MARINADE
Marinate steak for 15 minutes or more. Add oil to hot wok. Swirl and stir
fry garlic, ginger and scallions for 30 seconds. WSith slotted spoon,
reserving the marinade, add half the steak and stir fry for 3 minutes.
Remove and set aside. Repeat with remaining steak. Add oil and stir fry
onion and green peppers for 2 minutes. Push vegetables to sides of wok.
Add marinade to center of wok and stir until thickened and bubbly. Blend in
vegetables, add seak and heat thoroughly.
