We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Churching the unchurched is an absolute fallacy – it is like purposing to let the tares in. It is absolutely bizarre to want to make unsaved people feel comfortable in a church. The church is not a building – the church is a group of worshiping, redeemed, and sanctified people among whom an unbeliever should feel either miserable, convicted and drawn to Christ, or else alienated and isolated. Only if the church hides its message and ceases to be what God designed the church to be, can it make an unbeliever comfortable.
John MacArthur

God’s Holy Spirit creates His people by His Word. We can create a people by other means, and this is the great temptation of churches. We can create a people around a certain ethnicity. We can create a people around a fully-graded choir program. We can find people who will get excited about a building project or a denominational identity. We can create a people around a series of care groups, where each feels loved and cared for. We can create a people around a community service project. We can create a people around social opportunities for young mothers or Caribbean cruises for singles. We can create a people around men’s groups. We can even create a people around the personality of a preacher. And God can surely use all of these things. But in the final analysis the people of God, the church of God, can only be created around the Word of God.

INSTRUCTIONS

Boil Chinese mushrooms for 10 minutes, rinse, squeeze dry, cut off, and
discard stems; then, chop into very small pieces.
Shell, devein and wash prawns. Chop into very small pieces
Peel and crush water chestnuts with the flat side of the cleaver. If you
don't have a cleaver, chop the water chestnuts into very fine pieces.
Combine mushrooms, prawns, water chestnuts, pork and green onion.
Add all other ingredients and mix well. 1 teaspoon of filling is used for
each wonton.
With one corner of the skin toward you, place 1 teaspoon of filling about
an inch from the corner.
Fold one corner to cover the filling.
Told once more...about 3/4 inch.
Turn the won ton so that the triangel is toward you. Dampen the left corner
with a little water.
Swing the right corner away from you and place it on top of the dampened
left corner. As you make this fold, simultaneously pull the filling toward
you with your middle finger. You should finish with a little "hat-like"
effect.
