In such trials God still truly blesses our faithfulness to Him, but these blessings can as well involve the mercy of removing us from the grasp of this world’s pleasures as rewarding us with worldly delights (Heb. 12:11; James 1:2-4). Whether God chooses the ordinary path of rewarding our goodness with observable blessing, or the extraordinary path of blessing our obedience with trials that will strengthen our character and stretch our faith, His love is never lacking (Heb. 12: 6-11).

1/4	c	Hershey's Cocoa
2		Eggs
1	ts	Vanilla extract
1/2	c	Chilled whipping cream
1		8" packaged crumb crust
1	cn	Cherry pie filling

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat oven to 350 degrees.In large mixer bowl,combine cream cheese and
sugar;beat well.Blend in cocoa,scraping sides of bowl and beaters
frequently.Add eggs and vanilla;blend well.Blend in whipping cream.
Pour into crust.Bake 35 to 40 minutes.(Center will be soft but will set
upon cooling.Cool to room temperature.Cover and chill several hours or
overnight.Garnish with cherry pie filling.Serve 6 to 8.
