We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Fear of people is often a more conscious version of being afraid of God. That is, we are more conscious of our fear of others than our fear of God. Granted, fear of others is a real phenomenon. We really are afraid of the thoughts, opinions, and actions of other people. But under that we hide as best we can the more desperate fear of God.
Edward Welch

What Scripture says about parenting is actually quite simple and straightforward: You have a depraved and foolish child, and if you want him not to be so foolish, spank him (Proverbs 22:15). You have a solemn responsibility before God to provide an environment of nurture and instruction where your child will constantly be exposed to God’s truth (Deuteronomy 6:6-7). In short, you need to be careful not to provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c Sugar
1/4 c Unsweetened cocoa powder
1 pn Salt
3 lg Egg whites
1/8 ts Cream of tartar
1 tb Powdered sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

If you want crisp cookies, serve these on the same day they're made; they
soften even when stored in an airtight container.
Preheat oven to 300F. Line 2 heavy large baking sheets with foil or
parchment paper. Sift 1/4 cup sugar, cocoa and salt into small bowl. Beat
egg whites and cream of tartar in large bowl until soft peaks begin to
form. Add remaining 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 tablespoon at a time, and beat until
medium-firm peaks form. Add cocoa mixture 1 tablespoon at a time and beat
until meringue is stiff and glossy.
Drop meringue onto prepared baking sheets by rounded teaspoonfuls, spacing
1 inch apart. For chewy soft cookies, bake meringues 25 minutes. For drier,
crisper cookies, bake meringues 40 minutes. Cook cookies on baking sheets.
Sift powdered sugar over cookies.
