God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
No sorrow, no disappointment, however severe, could ever interrupt, let alone extinguish, the joy of [our] salvation with its vision of unclouded glory to come, for this joy was founded upon the sovereign supremacy of God, who overrules all things and causes them to work together for good to those He has called.
God doesn’t want us to punish ourselves to erase our guilt. He punished his Son to cancel our guilt. God will not build His kingdom on our pain because He is building it on His mercy.

Season Cornish hens with salt; place in baking pan. Cover with heavy-duty
foil. Mix wine, margarine and lemon juice. Bake at 325 F, 1 hours, basting
frequently with sauce until all is used. Uncover; bake
30 minutes longer.
My Note: Never use wine in a recipe that you wouldn't drink.

A Message from our Provider:
“We can do nothing, we say sometimes, we can only pray. That, we feel, is a terribly precarious second-best. So long as we can fuss and work and rush about, so long as we can lend a hand, we have some hope; but if we have to fall back upon God — ah, then things must be critical indeed! #A.J. Gossip”
