We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Only a fraction of the present body of professing Christians are solidly appropriating the justifying work of Christ in their lives... In their day-to-day existence they rely on their sanctification for justification... Few know enough to start each day with a thoroughgoing stand upon Luther’s platform: you are accepted, looking outward in faith and claiming the wholly alien righteousness of Christ as the only ground for acceptance, relaxing in that quality of trust which will produce increasing sanctification as faith is active in love and gratitude.

INGREDIENTS

1 pk (large) raspberry or cranberry Jell-O, (or 2 small pkgs.)
1 c Sugar
1 lg Orange; chopped (drain juice
1 c Pecans (*); chopped
1 c Celery (*); chopped
1 pk Cranberries; chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

When making the jello, add only 1 cup of cold water instead of 2. Also add
the 1 cup sugar when you are dissolving the jello in the hot water. Mix the
chopped ingredients together well and then add to the jello. Pour into a
9x13" pan (sprayed with Pam) and refrigerate. (*) You can add 1 1/2 cups
pecans and celery if you want to. Dana (my sister) used only 1 cup of each
of these ingredients and it was just yummy! (It's up to you, of course!)
NOTES : This is a holiday favorite with our family. We have it at every
Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner.
