God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

To the graceless neck the yoke of Christ is intolerable, but to the saved sinner it is light and easy.
C.H. Spurgeon

If preachers insist on competing with psychiatrists as counselors, with physicians as healers, with politicians as statesmen and with philosophers as speculators, then these specialists have every right to tell them how to preach. If a minister’s message is not based on “Thus saith the Lord,” then as a sermon it is good for nothing but to be cast out and trodden under foot of the specialists in the department with which it deals.

INGREDIENTS

1 3-pound London broil
3 Onions; cut in wedges
1/2 c Water
1/2 Bottle barbecue sauce; optional (up to 1)
Buns; optional

INSTRUCTIONS

I have a simple and favorite recipe I like to use and my family loves. I
get London Broil preferably on sale at about $1.99 a pound. A 2-3 pound one
works fine. I peel and cut into thin wedges 3 onions putting about 1/2 of
them in the bottom of the crockpot then putting the meat in on top and the
rest of the onions on top. Then add 1/2 cup water and cook on low power for
about eight hours! The taste is wonderful and the meat tender. And cleanup
will be extra easy if you spray the crockpot with Pam before filling it!!
You can also use the same meat and 1/2 to one whole bottle of barbecue
sauce, cook all day and serve on buns!! Yum!!! Enjoy, Elise
