God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
It may be, remember, that God has indeed answered but not in a way that is obvious to us. And it is possible that nothing is amiss in our praying, but that we haven’t yet seen the answer only because God intends for us to persevere in praying about the matter awhile longer. But we must also learn to examine our prayers. Are we asking for things that are outside the will of God or would not glorify Him? Are we praying with selfish motives? Are we failing to deal with the kind of blatant sin that causes God to put all our prayers on hold?

INGREDIENTS
1
Bottle (2-liter) clear pop (club soda; gingerale, lemon-lime or similar)
1
cn
(12-oz) frozen orange juice
1
cn
(46-oz) pineapple juice
INSTRUCTIONS
Reconstitute the orange juice in the punch bowl, add the pineapple juice
and soda pop. Add an ice ring. Makes about 5 qts (l) per batch. If you want
a more orangey-red color the new raspberry ginger ale flavor (pink) also
tastes good. Notice this is not too sweet. If you have a good size punch
bowl a bundt cake pan molds an ice ring that will last several hours before
it melts unless it is 100F in the shade. Congratulations!
