Almond Fruit Pizza Squares

INGREDIENTS

16 oz Pillsbury refrigerated quick
Crescent roll
1 tb Sugar
8 oz Cream cheese — softened
3 1/2 oz Almond paste
1/2 ts Almond extract
2 tb Sugar
2 c Strawberries — halved
1 c Seedless green grapes —
Halved
1 c Raspberries
11 oz Mandarin oranges — drained
2 Kiwi fruit — peeled and
Sliced
1/2 c Apricot preserves
1/2 c Almonds, toasted —
Slivered

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat oven to 375 F.  Spread dough into 4 long rectangles. Place rectangles
crosswise in ungreased 15x10x1 inch baking pan; press over bottom and 1
inch up sides to form a crust.  Seal perforations.  Sprinkle with 1
tablespoon sugar.  Bake for 14 to 19 minutes, until golden brown.  Cool
completely
In food processor bowl with metal blade or blender container, combine cream
cheese, almond paste, almond extract, and 2 tablespoons sugar; process
until smooth.  Spread evenly over cooled crust; top with fruit. Heat
preserves in small saucepan until melted; brush over fruit.  Sprinkle with
almonds.  Cover; store in refrigerator until serving.
