Prophets…declare what God will do and what God requires. They speak the truth that people often do not want to hear. This rubs against the grain of a culture that treats religion as a consumer item. Those who adjust the Word of God to meet market trends, assuming the consumer is always right, are simply peddlers (2 Cor. 2:17). Those who come to religion assuming that the chief goal of God is to glorify humankind and asking, “What will it all get me?” receive only spiritual chaff.

INGREDIENTS

1/2	ts	Pure almond extract
1 1/2	c	Vodka
1/2	c	Sugar syrup (below)
1	c	White granulated sugar
1/2	c	Water

INSTRUCTIONS

SUGAR SYRUP
Make sugar syrup, cool it, add all the ingredients together, shake well.
Mature a few days and it is ready to drink. Yield: 2 cups
Sugar Syrup: Bring to a boil, and stir until all the sugar is dissolved and
the mixtue is clear. Always cool before adding to alcohol mixture; heat
caused alcohol to evaporate. If tap water is heavily cholorinated or bad
tasting, (use bottled water or) heat thesyrup a few minutes to drive off
chlorination.
