It does, of course, call us to wisdom in helping our children reach that brightest line that marks adulthood-marriage. Which means our goal ought to be wisdom. Which means parents ought, while rightly having godly suspicion of the wisdom of the kids, to have suspicion about their own wisdom. They ought to be guarding against their own egos intruding.

12		Walnuts, shelled
2	tb	Pine nuts
1	ts	Coarse salt
4		(or 5) black peppercorns
3		Garlic clove(s)
4	tb	Butter
3	c	Basil leaves
4	oz	Grated Parmesan cheese
4	oz	Grated Romano cheese or added Parmesan cheese
1 1/2	c	Olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS

Place all ingredients except 1 cup black peppercorns in food processor and
grind very fine. Add remaining olive oil and blend a few seconds until very
smooth.
