INGREDIENTS

1/2 lb Ground pork
1 t Grated ginger root
1 Bottle, 13-oz miso
1/2 c Chopped green onions
1/4 c Sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

In a skillet brown pork with ginger.  Add green onions; lower heat and
cook, stirring constantly, about 2 minutes. Stir in sugar and miso;
mix well. Continue cooking on low heat, stirring occasionally, for 10
minutes. Serve over hot rice. Makes 3 cups.  From a book of my mother's
