If thankfulness does not move us to serve God, then we do not truly understand who our God is and what He has done in our behalf. Without gratitude for Christ’s sacrificial love, our duty will become nothing more than drudgery and our God nothing more than a dissatisfied boss.

INGREDIENTS

2 c Sugar
1 ts Baking soda
1 c Oil
1 ts Cinnamon
3 Eggs
2 ts Vanilla extract
3 c All purpose flour
2 c Chopped peeled apples
1 ts Salt
1 c Nuts

INSTRUCTIONS

Grease 2 loaf pans. In a large bowl beat together the sugar, oil and eggs.
In a separate bowl sift together the flour, slt, baking soda, and cinnamon.
Add the dry ingredients to the sugar mixture. Add the vanilla, apples, and
nuts. Pour the batter into the prepared pans. Bake in a 325F over for 1
