INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease deep 2-quart or 9x13 baking dish. Peel,
core, and cut apples into 1/4 inch slices. Layer in dish -
green/red/green/red. Mix syrup and lemon juice, pour evenly over apples.
Combine granola, oats, nuts, brown sugar and cinnamon - cut in butter until
resembles coarse crumbs. Combine sugar, flour and cinnamon - sprinkle 1/2
of mixture over apples. Spread evenly with blackberries, sprinkle remaining
flour mixture over berries. Cover completely with granola mixture. Bake
40-45 minutes or until apples are tender when pierced with a knife. Serve
warm with heavy cream or yogurt for breakfast, or with ice cream or whipped
cream for dessert. Serves 8-10
