INGREDIENTS

2 qt Apple Cider, Reduced To
2 c Reduced Cider
4 lb Mcintosh Apples Pared And
Quartered
1 c Sugar
7 Makes this many cups

INSTRUCTIONS

In a 4 quart saucepan bring cider to boiling. Boil gently over medium
heat about 20 minutes or until cider is reduced to specified amount  in
recipe. Add quartered apples and sugar; toss gently to combine.  Gently
simmer apples covered until apples are soft-- about 20  minutes. Stir
once. Serve warm with ham.  See recipe for Ham baked in apple cider.
Note the reduced cider is entered so that when the number of servings
is changed the reduced amount will be accurate.  Recipe by: The New
