INGREDIENTS

2/3 c Quick-cooking oats
1/3 c Firmly packed brown sugar; divided
3 tb Chilled stick margarine; cut in small pieces
3 pk Frozen escalloped apples; (such as
; Stouffer's)
12 oz Each

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 375°.
2. Combine oats, 4 tablespoons brown sugar, and flour; cut in
margarine with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Set aside.
3. Remove plastic film from apples. Place 3 packages apples in
microwave oven; microwave at HIGH 11 minutes or until partially
thawed. Spoon apples into an 8-inch square baking dish. Add remaining
brown sugar; stir well. Sprinkle oat mixture over apple mixture. Bake
at 375° for 40 minutes or until apple mixture is bubbly and topping
is golden. Yield: 8 servings.
