INGREDIENTS
2 1/4 | t | Yeast |
1 7/8 | c | Bread flour |
1 1/2 | c | Rye flour |
1/3 | c | Cracked wheat |
1 1/2 | T | Sugar |
1/2 | T | Salt |
1/2 | T | Caraway seeds |
2 | Garlic cloves, crushed | |
1 | Onions, chopped | |
1 | Apples, chopped | |
3 | T | Butter |
1/2 | c | Water |
INSTRUCTIONS
Bring all ingredients to room temperature and pour into bakery, in order. Set "baking control" at 10 o'clock. Select "white bread" and push Start. In hot & humid weather, use 1/8 c less water. This barely sweet, fruity rye tastes good with scrambled eggs or in a turkey sandwich. For tea sandwiches, slice thin and spread with cream cheese and toasted sliced almonds. Tested in DAK R2D2.
